My friends at Mountain Equipment Company (or Coop), got in touch with me in the thickest, densest part of Covid. They needed a library of trail running images – dealing with the pandemic came with its significant challenges for sure. Distancing, maintaining an absolute minimum crew, and not taking any unnecessary exposure risks were all considerations. Thankfully Squamish is a pretty awesome spot to stay local while nailing the creative brief, and is a town filled with awesome trail runners and crew.

We were able to capture these images at the veeeeery end of a weather window, we shot sunset and closed down for the night. The next morning there was 6 inches of snow at that location. Good timing!

It takes a village to bring these things to life, thanks to everyone who participated in a safe and fun production.
